HOWARD LAKE – A cold shooting night left the Lakers on the wrong side of a 51-33 loss to the Kimball Cubs in a Central MN Conference matchup Thursday night. The Lakers shot just 35 percent (15-for-43) in the loss. The Lakers struggled from deep, making just one of 12 three point attempts.

Zach Uter led the way for the Lakers with 10 points. Cameron Decker, Chris Zander, and Brock Bangasser all added four points in the loss.

The Lakers are back in action Friday, Jan 27 when they host Norwood Young America in a nonconference matchup.

LESTER PRAIRIE/HOLY TRINITY (12-4, 6-0): Jenna Dolezal 4, Steph Lohse 3, Madi Radtke 34, Taylor Ebert 6, Marissa Radtke 8, Hope Feltmann 7, Emily Williams 2, Kayla Weinzierl 6, Julia Pelzel 2, Myranda Hentges 3, Kaylee Scheevel 2.

LESTER PRAIRIE – Madi Radtke’s 34 points led the Bulldogs to a nice bounce back win over Legacy Christian Thursday night. Radtke also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out three assists as the Bulldogs got back on track after having their winning streak snapped this past weekend. Marissa Radtke added eight points, while Hope Feltmann chipped in with seven points for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs are back in action Saturday, Jan. 28 when they host Mayer Lutheran in a big Section 4A matchup. The Crusaders are currently ranked No. 10 in Class A. Tip is at 7 p.m. at Lester Prairie High School.

MAYER – In Minnesota River Conference battle, it was the Jordan Jaguars who came out with 72-69 win over the Crusaders Thursday night. It was a close on throughout, but the Jaguars made just enough plays down the stretch to snap the four game win streak for the Crusaders.

Senior Emilee Gustin led the way with 26 points, while Maddy Hucky added 19 points.

It doesn’t get much easier for the Crusaders who face Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity in a big Section 4A matchup Saturday night in Lester Prairie.
